Deputy Commissioner(DC) is official of head of the District Administration . Deputy Commissioner executes diverse administrative and executive functions on the behalf of Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa . DC is also the District Magistrate overseeing law and order and security of the district. Deputy Commissioner authorizes and regulates various activities and functions.The Deputy Commissioner is assisted by 2 Assistant Commissioners, and 2 Tehsildars. there are two tehsils and 23 union councils.
